There is something undeniably ghostly about cities in Summer. They always acquire a certain desolated look, due to the vast space left empty by people absence. However, that´s am scenario I love, as my vivid imagination tends to portray a post-apocalyptic landscape (the image of a metropolis after vampire consumption, or maybe once the zombie plague is over. The tons of lovely movie scenes you could set in here...)
Every year, we spend most of Summer in town, as we do enjoy this vision. Nonetheless, we have been visited by my youngest sister, which made July a bit less contemplative and much more active (oh, the endless energy of youth!) Our days have been full of long walks, good and bad films, museum incursions and day trips to the Water Park (yes, as I write this, I am shocked by the subtle honey colour my pale skin has adopted this month despite the fact I always wear 50 SFP, AND double shocked about the fact it looks good! Who knew?! Not me, anyway...)
Outfit rundown: dress - Lindy Bop / necklace: Brigitte Bijou / shoes - custom made by a friend / bag- Tokyo gift from my sister / stocking - Pamela Mann / cardigan: thrift shop.
My plans for the rest of the month are just chilling up as much as possible. August, on the other hand, will be a bit more stressful due to the Herculean task of finding a new apartment both The Gentle One and I like, as we´re moving to the North part of the country late September. But that´s a different story, and it will be told on a different time.
